[his gaze is distant when Chuuya enters, but it snaps up instantly when Chuuya speaks, almost defensive. he has to take a deep breath to calm himself down]
Hey. . . it hurts, but I have some painkillers. [a lopsided smile] And yours?
He literally does not care about the state of his body, you know. That's why he says you got hurt worse: he cares about what happens to you more than about what happens to himself.
[He is absolutely not going to discuss the complicated thing that is 'Chuuya and Dazai's odd friendship/dating/romance/what the fuck'.]
It's a complicated thing that has everything to do with our abilities and we're not talking about it because I can't explain it and you wouldn't understand anyway.
I guess that would depend on a few things. Is Akechi one of the few people in your world to have the same power as you, and understands the position you're in relative to that power because he's also been in that position? And so while you think his personality is kind of rotten and probably would want nothing to do with him if circumstances were different, you're stuck with him in your life because you don't know what else to do with him?

Week 2, Friday, once Akira has medical treatment
