Great. Guess if something happens tonight then I'll be waking up to people glancing sideways at me tomorrow.
[ not that they don't all the time already, but. ]
Hm, but it does sound like he's believing in this in isolation. Whatever happened doesn't seem like it manufactured any extra false memories that would help him prove that I was planning something, in his mind...
Or did it seem like he had more to say, but stopped after you disagreed?
Hmm. ♪ Well, it's inconvenient, but it seems this effect should be counteracted easily enough by pointing out the holes in Akira's reasoning and asking him to try to elaborate.
An unsubstantiated rumour shouldn't be too hard to work around, provided we're both still here tomorrow. There is the small chance that he might have extra privileges like some of us had in the mansion, but that's just speculation, and I'd be more concerned about the possibility of someone acting rashly under a power's influence.
Why would extra privileges make him wary of you specifically though? You're not doing anything wrong. I'd say it's someone else's power, that's it. That or he's just now learning you're a robot and he's robot-racist or something.
[That last part is a joke. He does not think Akira is a robot-racist.]
It's like that thing where the ones who could find monsters in the mansion could never say anything about who they were, or how they knew. In theory if I was somehow possessed or corrupted or something, and Akira found out, he could possibly try to abuse a loophole to tell people... and pass it off as the effect of a power instead of him actually knowing.
[ but that's convoluted levels of nonsense mindgame for little gain. ]
Of course, that doesn't really sound like Akira to me, but some of the rest of you know him better than me. Still, a decent amount of other people here probably know even less, so they might possibly believe something like that.
Yeah, I mean, if you WERE some kind of threat and Akira had found out, I'd know about it too. And I'd instantly tell at trial and get you voted out. So you wouldn't be trying to help me figure out what's going on, you'd be lying to cover it up and just go with the 'it's a power' idea.
[He also just trusts 45 too much. There's no way she's going to murder anyone, right?]
I think I'll go keep an eye on him until everyone goes to bed tonight though. Just to be sure he's okay. Leave it to him to run around and get in trouble in the middle of some paranoia.
I can't. They're too smudged to make out the proper size of. Maybe tomorrow, when things usually cleared up in the mansion, but right now I can't tell you much other than that they're there, and that they're leading away from the mess hall.
I woke up in the mess hall. Sanji and I spent the night there. Nothing out of the ordinary there, outside of feeling completely drained and ... hungry, I guess, now.
[ these constant low battery warnings are tiring when she can't do anything about them. ]
He was. Had what sounds like the same effect, at least, and when we regrouped he asked me about it before I mentioned anything.
[ she crosses her arms. ]
Speaking of, we barricaded the doors, just in case things would be different- but it looks like it's like the mansion again here too, considering things looked normal when we woke up.
If this camp could stop taking cues from the mansion, it'd be great. ♪
[ ... ]
You don't suppose we could just vote 'Camp' tomorrow and speedrun this entire thing, do you?
[ probably not, really, but look. she's tired. get the law enforcement and detective dolls to do this instead and let her return to her life in the underground. ]
