Right? Even if you believe in the condition presented, it's entirely too likely that you'll engage in friendly fire, or get outed at trial by a teammate who doesn't realize they're helping take out one of their own. Assuming, of course, that any of us here are playing along with the rules to that extent.
[ which. doesn't seem very likely, but. ]
I understand that personal motives may come into play ... but from what little I saw of him, he seemed fairly inoffensive. Admittedly, it's not like I'm the best judge of what does or doesn't make people friends around here, but... still.
[ extra credit killing at this point seems kind of dumb. she's leaning towards some kind of enforcement they're not aware of... yet. ]
I mean... It can't be for certain ruled out, though he seems to have been among some of the smaller populations present. He was from... the temple, I believe? Guy and Majima have made no secret of being from the same.
[ ... somehow, either of those committing a murder in this particular way doesn't sound right. ]
Two. But if that's a dead end, then we're back to where we started... though if the choice of victim were more random, and not premeditated by any grudges, that might itself tell us something.
[ what does it tell them? too many possibilities. a killer that didn't care who their victim was, a killer that was forced... honestly, at this point they have so little to go on.
in any case, she doubts that questioning guy and majima will get very far, but. ]
We might as well eliminate all the possibilities we can before going 'it's random', at least.
[It's the most likely case, and it's one Chuuya understands- he picked Four specifically because he didn't know her and wasn't attached to her. Someone else could have thought the same way.]
Sounds about right. There's no need to be hasty just yet, even ... knowing what we know.
[ or at least what they think they know, considering that the trend seems to be that they don't really get proper info until later, transparency in hosts or not. ]
