[So. At some point in the afternoon, Chuuya is going around looking for 45. And when he finds her, he's going to try to drag her somewhere private for a chat.]

Yeah, something happened. Someone came to me saying they thought you were gonna kill someone tonight. What's going on?

[He trusts 45 which is why he's asking so plainly instead of being sneaky about it. Because friends don't lie about important stuff like that, right?]

I have absolutely no idea why anyone would think that, given that if I'm apparently plotting a murder then it's coming as a surprise to even myself.

Hmm. Beats me, but for clarification: was he paranoid in general, or just about me? He ran into me when I was feeding the rabbits this morning, but he stopped at the door like he was afraid to come in, and left as fast as he could.

The last time I saw him before that was yesterday's get-together.

He was paranoid about you specifically. Did anything weird happen with the rabbits? Because he's not crazy, he must have seen something he misinterpreted.

I was... feeding rabbits. I don't know how anyone could possibly misinterpret that, unless they already thought badly enough of me to think that I was poisoning them, or something like that.

[ all the rabbits are 100% fine. ]

I think he was already wary before he actually ran into me. ...though I probably didn't help things much when I said that if he was worried about watching his back, there's probably a lot more people outside to worry about compared to one little me.

[ whoops. but look, he looked ridiculous trying to walk away from her, crouched down on the ground with a bunch of bunnies, without turning his back on her. ]

[Could Akira have thought that poorly of 45? No, that doesn't sound right. Akira is the one who can see right through people and make a good calls about them. And Chuuya just can't figure out what tf is going on.]

It's not like you're a stranger though, he should know you wouldn't just pop off on someone like that. And I really don't think he's planning anything either, he's too jumpy for that. And like, he wouldn't listen to me when I tried to vouch for you either, which is REALLY weird for him.

[He's worried now. He's also going to look 45 over to make sure there's nothing on her to make her look scary right now.]

Maybe one of the powers here is for someone to trigger... I don't know, a sort of limited personality flip? Or believe in a specific rumour?

Of course, that leaves the question: was I picked at random, or does someone have something against me specifically?

[He's pretty sure 45 would win in a fight between her and Akira. Akira is strong but 45 is gun.]

[ though, at least Akira isn't a nerd like Hunter was, even if Hunter was a zombie. ]

It'd be strange for someone to have something against Akira, though, considering how he makes friends with everyone. If it is a power, I wonder how long it lasts?

Well he wasn't acting weird before today, so it had to happen today. And I'd guess it lasts at least 24 hours. Someone absolutely had to be trying to cause shit tonight specifically.

Akira's pretty likable. People who don't know us are probably going to listen to him the most out of the ten of us here.

And if he spent a day being highly suspicious of you, so much so that he actually went to other people to be like 'hey that girl, she's up to something', only to either kill you overnight or to turn up dead because he attacked you?

Something like that, maybe.

Or maybe they'd attack someone else, and try to place the blame on me. They'd have options.

[ she didn't say they were all equally feasible, considering akira apparently went around singing her praises to random people on the bus, but. ]

They have a lot of options and it's too perfectly times to not be some kind of play like that. We need to root them out and punch them.

[Murder, at least, can be off the table unless someone dies.]

I won't stop you from punching them if we find out who they are, unless it really does turn out they messed up somehow.

[ but that's so unlikely it probably means someone is getting punched. ]

That of course involves finding them in the first place. What are you going to do, just come out and ask who used a power on someone else?

I get the feeling that, as time goes on, we're gonna find out what powers each person has. So eventually we'll figure out who it was.

...by the way, it wasn't me. My power doesn't do that.

Hahahaha. Probably. Until then, I suppose we'll all remain in the dark.

[ and like, why would she bother pointing the suspicion at herself unless this is extra reverse psychology levels of play going on. ]

Until we get a better idea of what it actually is, in any case, I don't think we'll be able to narrow down the titles that it could possibly be attached to very well either.

He tried to convince me that you were up to something, but when I told him that didn't sound like you he kinda went quiet and didn't bring it up further. That's why I had to come talk to you, to find out what actually happened.
