[TIME TO go track down some people I guess, one of them is going to be Dick. Because Dick was on the sex boat so maybe he understood that voice at the start there.]

[ he's been wandering camp trying to find ??? investigations??? some people invest on friday??? henwo???, so it's not that hard to find him. he looks surprised at chuuya-- but then again, also not ]

[Chuuya skipped the investigations because I had work cry he's not one to be helpful at all. But he's here for bothering people at least.]

Did any of the voices today sound familiar to you? The ones from the intercom.

... First one, yeah. The other two were distorted.

And it sounded like me, yeah?

Yeah. It was weird, hearing something that sounded like me, but off just a little bit.

What's weirder is that a lot of people didn't recognize the voice as me. But everyone here has heard me, so they should have heard that voice, right?

Yeah. From what I overheard, something similar happened with the second voice as well. Akira and your group recognized it, but the name he dropped was familiar with others who hadn't. [ which is ... curious. ] So why did you and Dazai recognize the first?

I actually have an idea on that. Don't tell me what it is, but you got a power when you got here, right?

Everyone did, as far as I know.

What if someone here has the power to manipulate how their voice sounds? They could have taken over the loudspeakers and have done those voices on purpose, to freak us out.

Could be... but I don't think that's it. [ he hums a bit ] I've been looking into it. So far, everything in this place seems to be pulling from different aspects of our previous experiences. It's possible those voices we heard are part of it.

Yeah, maybe, but I don't think it pulled in the actual people. Whatever's causing it, it's just fucking with us.

Definitely. I would've been a lot more worried if I thought otherwise. Probably trying to psyche us out before tomorrow.

There's still the question of 'why those people in particular' though. Whoever it is, they must have chosen those people for a reason.

Right. It's a bit weird to have as strictly a random option. And... why our groups in particular over other ones?

And why only some of each group too? If it was actual portal problems, shouldn't everyone from each of those places be here?

Some people weren't using a multidimensional travel when they were brought here, either. There's something more they're not telling us. [ a beat ] On top of everything else they're not telling us.

Yeah, that's right, your group was doing something else entirely, huh?

In my group, people who were going to the same place got split up. If it was just 'portals malfunctioning' then everyone in those groups would've come here, yeah?

You would think so. No, I've seen-- they might not be interdimensional, but I'm familiar with portals. This seemed a lot more deliberate.

You think they grabbed us on purpose?

It's an option. They certainly know enough about all of us for it to make sense.

It makes me wonder why they grabbed us in particular then.

Well they picked right if they were looking for killers from my group. Half of the ones here did murders.

Wasn't your group dealing with possession?

[ does it count. I mean dick thinks so but that's his own issues and does not account for trying it again HERE ]

Yeah, and if we're really bringing shit into this world like the guys in charge are saying then that'll probably come with one of the monster-murderers too.

[But not Chuuya. He was 100% himself when he murdered the shit out of someone. That's regular murderous intent everyone's going to have to deal with someday.]

I'm having doubts on things being as simple as something we brought in. There's got to be more to it than that.

It's probably not just us bringing stuff in, but it looks like that affects stuff at least a little bit.

Oh, definitely. But I'm guessing our bigger problem is what exactly it's affecting.

What we need to do is come together as a group and work out what parts of this place are influenced by one of us, and what parts aren't influenced by any of us. Once we know that, we might be able to make some sense of what's going on here.
