[Luckily Akira is one of like three people who will get a genuine reaction from Chuuya. When he hears Akira, he stops mid-knock and looks over to Akira. That vulnerable look, it's back. ]

Why didn't they tell me he was here?!

[he was so focused on Akechi's voice that he didn't even notice that the first two were so completely distorted that he couldn't recognize them at all]

But there are other people here who should have recognized it, too. So why didn't they?

[Because they have all heard Chuuya speak, so they should recognize his voice.]
