I'm willing to talk to her about it - because I don't know if I believe it was one of the four of us. There are too many things that still don't make sense.

Could it have been someone with feet smaller than ours? What was the point of throwing his shoes into the lake? We really didn't find enough in time to make sense of anything.

Yeah, we didn't.

We might get another shot at it anyway. If whoever it was killed to try and win this game, then they'll try to kill again next week. And we can be ready for that.

We had a few like that in the village - someone who killed and wasn't caught the first time, but the second time...

I just don't want to see who else we'll have to lose before we catch them.

It's better to think 'they will kill again' and be ready for them, I think.

In the house, some of us set traps. Not ones that would kill anyone, but ones that made it difficult to get into rooms, or ones that made it impossible to go into a room without leaving behind evidence. Something like that might help.

It'd take some effort on Thursdays... but that sounds workable.

Though if the knife was their primary weapon, it makes you wonder why they chose to put it back in the kitchen.

Precisely. And it was still bloody - but only on the edge. It wasn't plunged into someone's heart. It was just a shallow wound, but we couldn't find that on the body due to the bear mauling.

But why leave even that...

You know, maybe someone just slit Yu's throat? That'd be why it's only bloody on the edge.

I was thinking that - it has to be someplace that's immediately fatal, though. Otherwise he would've put up more of a fight, even in those seconds that he was dying, right?

I don't know how long a man can survive after getting their throat slit...

Depending on how deep it is, about ten seconds. But it makes an absolute mess, he'd have to have been killed in the woods to cover up that much blood.

It is - but at least tomorrow we're going to be able to find out Yu's power and see if it was utilized at all, so that might clear things up even just a bit.

We'll have to keep working from there.

Watch it be that he had some bullshit power that turns this whole case on its head.

And of course he never told anyone what it was so we couldn't use that incredibly vital piece of information to actually catch his killer.

He didn't even tell his one close friend here? I get it if no one wants to broadcast to everyone, but at this point it's just about having a back-up plan.

I've told exactly two people what my power is, and it's staying like that.

But I guess he really wanted to keep it a secret, or whoever knows it isn't coming forward.

There's no punishment for sharing the power of someone who's already passed. If Guy and none of Yu's roommates knew, then there probably isn't anyone who would've known.
