[ugh. . . Chuuya is the first to ask Akira about his relationship with Akechi, so he hasn't exactly. . . figured out how to put it into words yet. he doesn't want to reveal all of Akechi's secrets, but he doesn't want to lie, either]

I know him from back home. He's a famous detective who did a lot of talk shows and was very popular for a while.

We're not friends-- in fact, at one point we were enemies-- but. . . I told him I didn't want to fight with him anymore.

So we've agreed to work together while we're here.
